Q: bleeding during intercourse

I have had sex before and I never bled before during or after but this time with someone else, we foreplayed and had sex and ten minutes into it I began to bleed and after I went home to clean up I bled but it was brown but it has been a few days and I start my period in a week. Should I be worried?

I also am on birth control and missed a day. Could that be a leading role as well or no?

Both. If you've have sex a limited number of times before and have a new, larger partner and some rougher sex - then that could be the cause of your bleeding. Missing birth control pills can also be a contributing factor.
