I've been single for a number of years and hadn't had sex in over 3 years. I recently started dating a guy and we had sex for first time a couple of days ago, afterwards we found that I had bled during intercourse. Could this be just because its been a while for me? or is it more likely to be something more serious? There has been no pain and wasn't any at the time either.
Any advice much appreciated.

Hi MsKazza and welcome to ehealth: If you are possibly in your 50's and haven't kept yourself lubricated and open with masturbation, then this could be a cause of the bleeding...However, if this bleeding does continue then I would have it checked out...Be sure and use personal lubricant for easy penetration...Take care...
