I've had normal periods for the ast 3 months and my last period was from February 28th to March 4th but just 2 days ago i experienced bleeding at night. I went to see my gynaecologist yesterday and he prescribed Primolut-N and Ciproflux for me and the bleeding stopped just yesterday afternoon bu has resumed this morning.

It's not like a normal period. It is pinkish in color and i'm not having any menstrual cramps but i feel some heavinsess in the lower left part of my stomach. Shouldn't i be sent for ultra-sounds or something? Thanks

you should absolutley be sent for an ultrasound. i had problems much like the ones you are describing about 10 years ago...i was always very regular and then i started having bleeding in between my periods and a sense of 'heaviness' on and off for about a year. all it wound up being was a hormonal imbalance but the first AND last thing my doctor did was a pelvic ultrasound. i would HIGHLY recomend you bring this up to your doctor or get a second opinion. there are a hundred different things it could be and none of which should be ruled out until a FULL EXAM. good luck and let me know how it goes!
