I had a miscarriage about five months ago, and after it was over I went on ortho tri-cyclin lo. I'm on my fourth month of pills. Yesterday I started bleeding even though my period isn't supposed to start for two more weeks. I know that if you miss pills then you can start your period early (I missed one pill and took two the next day like the pack said to.), but this isn't like a period. The blood is brown-ish and very light compared to a normal period. That's how it started when I had my miscarriage, and I'm scared that it might be happening again. I'm hoping that this is just because of my bc pills, but I'm still worried. During my last miscarriage I bled for over four weeks and it was a very tough experience.

Break thru bleeding is very common on birth control pills. You are not miscarrying.
