Hello all.
My name is Sopha, I am a healthy 29 year old female and the proud mother of a 7 year old daughter.
In June I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. I was terribly depressed and worndered "Why?"
I had a D & C, my husband an I waited two weeks before having sex and as it turns out, that was the right time because I got pregnant.
Now, I am 9 weeks and two days and I started to have some blood on the paper after using the toilet...light redish brown blood. It's been thwo days and now the bleeding is a little heavier and I have some intermitant abdominal and low back pain...but it seems different than the last time...and I still feel pregnant.
I exercise daily, run (not intense), do moderate sit-ups etc. so I know I am in very good shape...
We live on Thailand, however I am visiting my family in Cambodia and went to the clinic here, the Doctor told me I am OK and not to worry...this I do not believe, and he did not do an ultra sound...
My husband is very supportive, but I know it hurts him as well. He tells me that we can try again and again and again until it works...he is a great guy, but I do not know if I want to go through this disapointment and heatache again.
Any suggestions as to what might be happening?

Some spotting can be perfectly normal around this time. I am also 9 weeks and have been bleeding for 2 days. At first it was reddish-brown, then pink, now just brown when I wipe. Because I have had previous miscarriages I was freaking out, but everything is fine and the fetus has a strong heartbeat. Have you had sex or an internal exam in the past few days? That can cause bleeding. In the meantime, take a few days off from exercise and just rest with your feet up and drink plenty of fluids. Is there another clinc where you can go and try to get an ultrasound? That is the only way to put your mind at ease. If you are having problems with reoccuring miscarriages consult a reproductive endocrinologist and have some tests done. It could be the simplest thing. For me is was low progesterone. Now I am on progesterone suppositories and so far everything is fine. Good luck
