Q: Bleeding and sore after sex

I lost my virginity over a year ago to a past partner, but then broke up with him about 2 months ago. I've recently had sex with my new long term boyfriend, but bled a little and didn't realise till after that I actually had. He said it's probably nothing but, I'm just scared it could be something. I'm feeling fairly sore but, I'm not so sure if it's just because I know I've bled that I'm thinking about it too much.
