Ovarian cysts are quite common in woman during the reproductive years. They are just like fluid filled sacs and if they rupture and get filled with blood then it is known as hemorrhagic cyst. It can cause irregular bleeding, pelvic cramps and spotting.
But the diagnosis can be confirmed by a USG scan or a MRI and depending on that the treatment is started.
It is difficult to give a precise diagnosis here without a clinical evaluation. If the pain increases or bleeding is heavy then could be even due to burst cyst and that requires an immediate attention. As you have explained that you have been regularly having sexual contact then conception is also a possibility. Kindly visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation or if the pain intensity is high consider visiting a ER for evaluation.
