THen we have done 2 colonoscopys. THe second time he said it was a lil worse than the first but it was mild proctitus. So i continued to take asacol for a year now and it was giving me headachs everyday and making my life horrible so i stopped edicine..

the doct never seems to know what to do and recently just said to stop taking the medicine and if i feel the need to come in to call...

I been bleeding for two years now and always have gas, mucus( sometimes green, brown or mainly clearish yellow)... and with the mucus i have to go to the bathroom all the time thinking i have to go and its just mucus...

Any ideas of what it could be or what to do?? i cant go on with this anymore...

You should have a colonoscopy performed by a properly trained GI specialist, and the lining of your rectum should be biopsied at that time to rule-out ulcerative colitis and other chronic inflammatory diseases that affect the rectum and colon. Also, stool cultures should be sent to rule-out chronic infection of the rectum.
