Welcome to ehealthforum,
Altered periods, abdominal cramps, breast soreness, that you describe could indicate pregnancy possibility if you had been sexually active after last periods (and not on regular birth control measures). Wait and watch for your next periods. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. If periods have not started within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you have got abnormal periods, or if you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets ruled out, further evaluation would be done to look for underlying cause for your altered period pattern and missed periods. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and evaluation results) would be started to help you regulate your periods better. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet.
I am going through the same thing.
Please let me know what were the results.
I have been bleeding on and off for 2 weeks.
No cramps , no pain.
The bleeding starts off light, then heavy, then light again, then nothing, and starts over again.
I have taken two HCG test and both came out negative.
I am on the DEPO shot and have not had a period before intercourse but recently after intercourse have started bleeding on and off.
I thought it was just because we havent had inntercourse in a while, but the bleeding has not stopped.
I have a GYNO appointment this Thursday, I will let you guys know.
