It's been several months and l've recieved no answer or anything to my question. My condition is still the same except now l have anemia as well and more pain in the head and pelvic area. I've gone to another doc but the anemia was all he could tell me, he just wanted to put me on a different pill, didn't even dig futher except to do the same as my previous doctor.
Please help

Hi, l don't know what to do anymore. I've had continual bleeding for the last two months that started with intercourse. I have PCOS and my doctor says it has nothing to do with it. I usually have painful, very painful periods and pelvic pain. I have period only 1-3 times a year if any at all since l was 15 and now l just turned 28. My Gyno performed cryosurgery saying that would subside the bleeding. He says now that l should just change my BC pill and that will fix it and that its nothing serious. This has been the worst experience of my life and even after the cryosurgery the bleeding has continued with even more pelvic pain. Feel horrible, always in pain, huge clots when the pelvic pain is bad, bloated, nauseas, headaches and l am so miserable. I feel like my relationship is suffering because of it. My fiance tries to understand but its sooo hard when you can't even give him a good answer or how to fix it.
Please someone help, l don't know what to do anymore, l feel like my doctor's don't care.

i would suggest you see another doctor. my aunt went through something like this a few months ago. she was bleeding for over a month w/ clots and ended up becoming anemic because of it. they performed a uterine scrape on her but she had fibroids. did your gyn do an ultrasound? could be fibroids as well or endometriosis.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply, yes all doctors have and say everythings normal. Which l don't believe. I'm just lost, going through the same thing all the time which each doctor to no avail. So l hope maybe l can find something to help me here. They told me l don't have either endo or fibroids but who knows, they don't really seem interested, just do their tests and don't listen.

i'm really sorry you're going through this... i can relate in a way my doctor has been brushing me off as well. I haven't had a period for 6 months now and occasionally have severe pain around my pelvic area as well. they did a pap test in which i ended up bleeding bright red for almost 2 weeks. the pap came back abnormal and my doc told me it could be cancerous and now her solution is to take birth control... doesn't make and freakin sense does it?... i'm in the process of looking for a gyn, hard to find one my insurance covers. i hope you figure out what your condition is soon... don't give up, keep looking for a doctor who will take you seriously.

I'm sooo sorry your going through this too. They either don't care or don't care to look out side the box. I hope you find a solution as well. Its soo unfair because these people are supposed to be here to help us no ignore us. Sometimes l think its all about the money but then l know there are doctors that are sooo amazing. I just wish that if doctors are fed up they should retire but if they just don't know or understand or have time constraints then they should refer us to someone else or try every possible solution, JUST LISTEN, not everyone is the same and sometimes problems don't fit into their preconcieved notions. It's just really fustrating because you have to almost suffer in silence because you just don't know what it is and then they make you doubt yourself by telling you it might be all in your head because they just don't know.

But in your case please seek someone else, cancer is not an option your throw out there and then just treat with BC pills. I know its hard but please keep on, l've been dealing with since l was 15 and still no answer but l want to have children so l need an answer. Do you live in the states, sometimes you can look up gyno's who do pro-bono work, my friend in NY did b.c she was from an outside country. Doesn't hurt to try any and every option when it comes to your health.
God Bless and Thank you
