I am here to ask if anyone is experiencing bleeding after 8 years of not having a period. I am very nervous my doctor cannot see me until Monday(hopefully)once I get a chance to book and appointment.
I am 48 with 9 year old twins.

I just started HEAVILY yesterday. Nothing for 6 years. I just turned 47 last week. I, as well, want to know what the heck is going on! PS: I hate to say this, but at least I found out it's not only me! Elizabeth

I looked under "Signs and Effects" for the definition of Menopause under Wikipedia. That goes over everything I've been experiencing lately. Anxiety, irritability, skin itching (I bought the pink lotion last week!), etc. Totally explains the transition of going into menopause. Explains how your body can go for a long time without a period, and then you'll have an extended one. Good to read.
