Q: Bleeding After Transvaginal Ultrasound?

So I went to the doctor today and had two ultrasounds done (one abdominal and one vaginal). I was fine before I went in but on my way home I started cramping and when I got home I went to the restroom and when I wiped there was what looked to be blood but it was like a faded maroon color (hard to explain), but it was only when i wiped. I have heard that this is normal when you are pregnant but I have yet to get a BFP with a HPT or Blood Test so I'm guessing thats not the case. So is this still normal even though I am not pregnant? Oh and my last period was on February 21, 2009 and it is now April 9, 2009. I'M STILL LATE!!

Yes, it is normal whether you are pregnant or not. It is due to the irritation of your cervix from the internal ultrasound.

I just got over my period on Thursday, and had the transvaginal ultrasound on Friday.. ever since then, I've had the same very light bleeding. I almost feel like a bit irritated.. is this all normal?
