Q: Bleeding after starting and stopping pill

I started the pill on the first day of my period, like i was told to do. The pill started making me gain weight after 5 days so I stopped even though I was still on my period. Now i'm on my 10th day of my period and it's still really heavy and starting to become unmanageable for me.
Should I restart the pill?

Please help?

Whenever you experience heavy bleeding that does not stop, you should see your health care provider.

It is probably just withdrawal bleeding because you stopped the pills but 10 days is a long time, especially if it is getting heavier.

Best of luck Erin!!
