Ok, I was raped when I was a child and therefore thought my hymen was busted, and so did the medical exams I took for court. Recently I had sex for the first time since with my new boyfriend and I was bleeding afterwards. I did not tell him I was a virgin because I didn't consider myself one. What do I do? And should I be concerned?

How much and for how long did it bleed. Was it not your period? Sex can make it start a bit sooner.

It is possible that sex can cause micro tears from stretching and friction, and thus light bleeding. Bumping your cervix can also cause bleeding.

Being fully aroused, lubricated and relaxed are very important. It might be difficult for you due to your history to trust your partner and get in that state.

It might be best for you to go for an ObGyn exam.

This is similar with me, i have only had sex twice but both times i have bled, the first was for about a day or so and the second was for about 6-7 hours. But i have been told this is to be expected for the first few times.
