How do you know if your hymen if broken? After my first time, there was ALOT of blood all over myself, where we had done it, and all over his d*ck. And then, sometimes, when I fool around extremely hard with myself, there is an excessive amount of bleeding a few minutes afterwards. Recently, I've put in tampons even when I'm not on my period to slow or hide the bleeding. I have just finished fooling around with myself, and my period is also ending as I post this. My period, since I started fooling around, has been on-off, on-off. About fifteen minutes after I finished playing with myself, I started bleeding heavily. Which is odd because I'm finishing my period, so there shouldn't be that much blood left. I thought I had broke my hymen the first time, so maybe my hymen is really thick or partially broken? Perhaps I continue to cut myself or re-open a cut from my first time? I play around with myself quite frequently. Also, when I was younger, I fell off extremely high monkey bars (tthe full, huge kind) and I was rushed to the hosp. and I had multiple cuts inside and out of my vagina. So I'm wondering if that has anything to do with this bleeding I'm experiencing now. Thanks so much, very appreciated.

Let's start with the easy one:

The cramps you get with your period is your uterus contracting to separate the lining from the rest. This lining breaks up. It is full of little blood vessels. This is what forms the menstrual debris that you call your period.

When you have an orgasm, your uterus contracts in the same way, it is just much more pleasurable for you. So while you are menstruatin, these contractions will/can speed up the breakdown of the lining and push it out much quicker. This will cause the stop start effect, with the very heavy flow a bit later. Hopefully your period will be a bit shorter for all your effort.

For this reason, a good orgasm will often relieve menstrual cramping, and it can make your flow start a bit earlier if done before your period, or make it restart if done shortly after your flow stopped, or make it quicker if done during your flow. Orgasms during your flow phase of your cycle is actually quite good for you. It is thought to combat endometriosis, and it puts you in a good and relaxed mood, and help you sleep.

The first part of your question is more difficult to answer as you need to be examined to determine the exact reason.

The first time you bled was likely your hymen. Does putting a tampon in when you masturbate hard help? Does it absorb blood, or does it stop bleeding altogether. What do you use to masturbate hard with? My suspicion is that you either cause micro tears in your vaginal wall, or bruise your cervix. Make sure what you use are smooth, clean, no possibility of breaking or sharp edges, make sure you are super wet, and stay wet. And don't go too deep.

You can try to put something inside your vagina (whatever you are masturbating with), but then rubbing your clitoris until you orgasm, rather than pumping hard and fast into your vagina.

You can also take a mirror and see if the blood is coming from inside your vagina, or somewhere where you can see it.

Take care, and remember to keep everything you use clean, and very well lubricated.

After I have masturbated, when the bleeding starts, I usually put a tampon in if it continues/ is too much. Majority of the time the tampon does absorb the blood, but I have noticed a little blood seeping out, whether or not that's a cut on the outside or the tampon's fault. I usually use hairbrushed, cucumbers, pens, markers, toothbrushes, etc. to masturbate with.. The "normal" household items. And I found I can only orgasm (cum) a little bit, which is sort of saddening to me, because of what I put myself through to orgasm.. I usually have to rub my clit for a long time right on the, uh, ball part.. And I usually need something inside of me at the same time to get a little bit of an orgasm. Also, another thing that relates to this, when I do orgasm, sometimes, which a heavier orgasm, blood usually comes out. And I'm talking quite a bit of blood. Although, my partner and I were unsure if it's blood because it didn't smell like blood, but it looked like it...

My suggestion is threefold:

* See your ObGyn to make sure everything is ok. This includes any side effects from your rather traumatic straddle injury whenyou were younger. It is best if you can do this while you are bleeding so that the doc can see what is going on. I do not know your circumstances, but if you cannot afford it, use student medical services, or Planned Parenthood, or a county health clinic if you are in the USA.

* Get yourself some dedicated sex toys. A smooth dildo, vaginal balls, a clitoral vibrator. Vaginal balls (or a dildo with a bigger head) may give you the stuffed feeling that you like, fill that deep spot that wants to be filled, and give your muscles something to contract against during an orgasm. Use a personal lubricant with it, and make sure you stay super slippery. A clitoral vibrator will bring you to orgasm quicker. Try water masturbation and pillow humping to bring some variety.

* Learn and practice to orgasm quicker. Learn about your mental state, your thoughts, your brain, your muscles during arousal, and techniques to make arousal build quicker. Your sex toys may also be able to help with this.
