I got my Mirena IUD removed on October 22nd. On the 24th I had a brief, one-day period. Then on the 25th my husband and I had intercourse. 2 days later, I had some very light spotting, pinkish in color. That made me wonder if it was from implantation? But is it possible to conceive the day after a period? Or maybe the bleeding on the 24th wasn't a period, since it only lasted one day (but was heavy enough for a tampon)? The last 2 "periods" I had, while my IUD was still in, were on Sept. 25th and August 23rd. But they were so light, that it was only brief spotting then, too.

Is it normal to have bleeding for one day, a couple of days after having an IUD removed? I haven't had a normal period since before I got my IUD in (2 1/2 years ago), so I'm off whack. Maybe the very light spotting I had on Oct. 27th was also a period???
