partial hysterectomy
I had a procedure back in October. I started to bleed yesterday. I thought I was hemoraging but I feel fine. Should I be worried?

If you continue to bleed have it checked out...I had this happen about four months after I had my hysterectomy...Mine involved both the uterus and ovaries and plus the rebuilding of the vaginal canal...I went to the doctor and the GYN on call examinted me...He said that everything looked OK...I have never been bothered since then...

Stay on top of it...Bleeding is not part of what should be happening...Possibly some aggressive sex could cause this if your cervix was redone...I assume this is what happened with me...

Take care,
Caroline

Hi and welcome to ehealth: Mine would be the explanation of a layman and not a professional...Having had this procedure done, I found that it was a shock to my confidence in being a woman...I had to fight my way back up the ladder to prove to myself that I was all that I used to be...With this came an elevated blood pressure...I, myself, had to learn to accept this new person that I was....I had to realize that nothing about me had changed....I was still 100% woman and as sexual as I had always been....

Now this is only an explanation of why my blood pressure could rise to cause Hypertension....I am not all women and can only speak as one....So you see, we all are different and what one does the other may not do....Hope this helps....

Relax....Smell the roses....They smell better than they ever have...
