Q: bleeding after depo shot

alright.. i got my depo shot on january 25th. was on my 3rd day of period when i got it.. period ended about 2 days later. then. about a week later on feb2nd i began bleeding..kinda spotty like.. but enought o be annoying..for about 3 weeks.. and its now march 17th and now im on period.. i dnt understand it.. i know breakthru bleeding happens..but.. not like this right?

I don't think that's too abnormal. I've heard a lot of horror stories about women heavily bleeding for months at a time while on depo.

I'm one of the "horror stories"
I'm on my second depo shot and I've been bleeding for 2 months and before that I was "browning/spotting" for one month...I'm switching over the to the ortho evra the patch when I am due for my next shot...hopefully this works a lot better, because this isn't!
