Am I Pregnant Answer A23643
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are not on any form of birth control measures and if the unprotected intercourse was closer to your ovulation time (time of egg release from ovary), then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out. The cramps, bleeding/dark discharge could be suggestive of possibility of pregnancy/implantation bleeding. Wait and watch for your next periods. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy.
If you do not get your periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you suspect to be pregnancy, visit your doctor/gynecologist for examination (to look for signs of pregnancy changes in body) and getting a blood HCG test done (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet. Avoid caffeinated and carbonated beverages, alcohol consumption and smoking.
Take care.
