Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth's Ask a Doctor forum.

Yes, if the bed sheets are flooded with a fluid after sex, it could be a leaking urinary bladder. Understandably having unintentional urine movement during sex can be embarrassing. This can happen without any cause or can be due to emotional trauma.
This type of incontinence is called stress incontinence. This is due to weak pelvic floor muscles.

Fibroid tumors of the uterus are also known to cause incontinence. A heavier uterus presses on the pelvic floor making the pelvic floor weak. Hence the urinary bladder sags and causes this problem. You can try pelvic floor exercises to tighten the vagina. Your gynecologist can suggest some. One such exercise is to hold breath and pull in your pelvic floor muscles as in holding on to urine. It helps some to urinate before sex.

Talking to your partner regarding this and between the two of you with care this problem can be overcome. Discuss this with your gynecologist. Hope this helps. Take care!
