Q: Bladder diverticular and hernia repair
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 5th, 2009
I am currently 68 years old and originally had an umbilical hernia operation in 2000 to repair my hernia. Unfortunately this operation was not successful. Pressure is now constantly being created due to a bladder diverticular, therefore a new repair to the hernia depends upon the bladder pressure being sorted out first. Could anyone assist with any advice?

One should consider a laparoscopic repair of your recurrent umbilical hernias, using mesh.
