I am a little over five weeks post op a total hysterctomy during which time my bladder was damaged. Apparently my gyn states my bladder was wrapped around my uterus and was not where it should have been. When the gyn went to move my bladder his finger went through it. Therefore a urologist had to be called in to repair the damage which was pretty bad. I endured a catheter for one week. I thought that was bad but what I am experiencing now is ten times worse than before my hyster. Immediately after having the foley removed I started experiencing UTI symptoms as well as leaking whenever I would stand up. I continue to have a discharge daily which sometimes has the consistancy of urine but mostly a foul smelling yellow mucous. My gyn is not avail and his on call has been avoiding me. My urologist checked me out and once I explained the other symptoms that suddenly occurred 3 wks post op ie. my incision opened in several places where green pus came out. He said it was yet another infection because of an allergy to my internal sutures. Well I finally had intercourse and let me tell you it was probably the worst thing to do!! I experienced a sensation that something ruptured during the event and felt a gush of what I was afraid was an incontinant bowel. It turned out it was a water like substance and had a small amount of blood in it. I have a slight bloody discharge and severe cramping since which was a few hours ago. Something definitely is not right! I am pretty freaked about it. Oh and I have been experiencing not only severer bladder symptoms since the surgery but have flank (kidney) pain as well as severe headaches, mood swings like never before and nasty headaches. My kids think I am psycho and I feel ten times worse. Forget sex because I guess I lost control of my bladder which was mucho embarrassing. I am only 38 and cant live my life like this. And by the way I have been running fevers ever since my surgery mostly low grade but have hit as high as 102. I really feel like I need to go to the hospital now because the pain is so bad. (I know I will not do that as it isnt an option for me) Please anyone with similar symptoms please share. Or anyone who has some insight/advice I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!!

Go to the hospital. It sounds like you may have a post-op infection (even on antibiotics, it happens). Don't wait to make an appointment, go straight to the emergency room. Complications from surgery are often very severe and need prompt medical attention.
