Q: Black spots under the breasts
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 22nd, 2008
Two black spots, each about the size of a small pea, under each breast, exactly the same spot on both sides. Sometimes one or the other feels hard, and I notice when I get sweaty the area surrounding it gets very red.
No pain, rashes or other irritation and they are not open sores. I do not wear a bra at home and have fairly large breasts, could these be pressure sores?

Have a diagnosis for the current condition: no
Current medical status: asthmatic
Current medical treatment: advair, albuterol

It is very hard to diagnose your problem without seeing these “two black spots” under each breast. I don't think that pressure can cause black spots. These “black spots” could also be a nevi.

You may want to consult a dermatologist about your problem.
