Q: Black puke and stool

So 4th of July, that Friday and Saturday I've been drinking. Saturday night I felt sick, but thought I could sleep over it. I kept waking up coughing and lots of spit in my mouth. I finally decided at like 11 AM to puke and I did, which came out black liquid. I was a little scared, but didn't think much cause it was like water, a little couple of pieces like you get from ashes. I remembered I ate some brownies so thought that could be why it was black and had some water before sleeping with 2 Advils or something like that. Later in the day, my stool came out normal, but then at the end just totally black and dead like it's been there for weeks.

What might I have and how soon do I need to see a doctor if I have to. Would this continue to eat away at me and make me feel really awful if I don't see a doctor soon. I felt better after going to the bathroom, but what is the best thing I should do?
