I've been told I have a possible macular hole...or retina nerve problem due to see double vision in left eye...more prominent at the end of the day.

The last 2 nights, if I hold one hand over one eye to keep it closed, while looking at a mirror or out in space, weird things have been happening. I can see the reflection of my eye in the mirror, but then a wide black halo forms around it while I can still see beyond the width of the black halo as well as the center (my eyeball). It happens with both eyes.

It does not appear in the morning. I cannot get in to see my eye doctor until 07/27. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this?

Thank you.

Ratinal Damage high blood pressure
Dear Doctor,

My father is abbout 60 year old, he is a patient of high blood pressure.
In 1996 he felt that he has a less vission in left eye.
then later he started loosing his vision from both eyes.

Main issue found by doctors was his retinal cells are getting dead. so now he is having a balck hole in centre of his vision.
in left eye this black hole is very big as compare to right eye so from his right eye he can see a little.
He can walk and see his way. There is no such case in my family history for last 300 years.

But he is very healthy and his eye ball is also ok as per doctors.

I wanted to check if there is any chance that he can see normally again.
