Q: Black dots after shaving

Every time after I shave my legs, I get little black dots where the hair was growing from. I have dark brown hair, almost black and it really bothers me to see these dots. I have used shaving creams, gels, and bought new razors (men and women's) to see if it was because I wasn't getting a close enough shave. Is there anyway to minimize the appearance or get rid of these dots? They just really lower my self esteem, because I don't feel comfortable wearing shorts, skirts, or capris.

The dots are probably the tops of hair that lies just below the surface of your skin. People with very dark hair have this problem. I don't know of anything that can get rid of it, maybe hair remover, but that's about it. or you can use tanner on your legs to minimize the look of the dots some.
