Q: Bizarre nipple shape

For as long as I can remember my left nipple has been an unusual shape. It is sort of in the shape of a sideways heart or a telephone symbol seen on many maps (if that can help you picture the shape). It has never cause me any problems and I am not ashamed of it. I was just curious as to whether or not this sort of thing had a name or what could cause it? Any suggestions?
