I am on a three month birth control pill called jolessa. I'm currently almost done with the second month. This is the first time I've been put on birth control before (I'm seventeen). However, I got my period early (about a month ago), and I still have it. At first it was really really heavy up until about a week ago. Now it is only like spotting.

But a new characteristic has emerged. I have a funny smell down there. It's stronger than a normal smell and I wash myself every day. I mean, I'll shower in the morning and the strong smell will be there by the afternoon and I haven't even done anything physical or anything. It's really quite strange.

Can anyone help me out, please?

hi, u should check back with dr that prescribed your birth control,
I assume u know not to wash out your vagina as it is self cleaning and if u use soap or other such u will damage the delicate balance of bacteria and yeast
good luck
