Q: birth control start-up ?

i had unprotect sex on the 2nd of september. i bought birth control pills and morning after pills on the same day. i took the morning after pill and i don't when when i can start taking the birth control pills because i am expecting to start menstruating on september 10, 2009. what should i do? when can i start taking the birth control pills? Question

Well, doctors usually tell women to start taking their pills after they are off their period. I think the Sunday after your period your supposed to start taking them. Because there are pills that are a different color in your birth control usually. Those different colored ones, are the ones you take when you are on your period. So, if you start them right after your period, by the time you finish those pills for the month, your period should start when you start taking the colored pills at the end of the pack. Hopefully that makes sense! lol. but simply, I would start them after you are off your period, to start a new cycle. Thats what a doctor would tell you im sure.
