I picked up my new birth control pills (Kelnor 1/35) from my doctor two months ago. It has been three months since my last period. I'm not pregnant and I'm using condoms however my skin is breaking out very badly (I have hormonally caused cystic acne) and I wanted to know if I could start taking my birth control pills since I don't know when my next period will occur?

Yes, you can start taking them whenever you want.

They will be effective (against pregnancy) after 7 days.
