Hi, everyone. I had a quick question: my girlfriend is on Sprintec, which she gets from Kaiser. Unfortunately, she will be off her parents insurance at the end of the month and is unsure if she can still receive her birth control.

Is it possible to still receive refills without insurance? How much are the refills? If not possible, is it possible for her to order another refill to "stock up" before she is off her parents insurance?

Thanks in advance!

As long as your girlfriend has a prescription, she can get it filled at any online pharmacy. 6 months of Sprintec costs about $160. You guys can also check at a Planned Parenthood clinic near you. They offer sliding scale birth control...and can help take care of your girlfriend's vaginal and sexual organ health (PAP smear) while she transitions to another health care plan.
