I was wondering how come on yaz,(dont' know if on any others) after you miss two pills in the third and fourth week, you have to throw your pack away? Is it safe to keep going? or do the pills not work anymore? Because I missed two days and kept going in the pack. I never got a new pack to start up. So am i safe?

Are you up to date now on your pills? If you miss 2 your supposed to take then next one in the pack with one of the missed ones, then the next day do the same thing and you should be caught up and should be ok (this is what I was told in one of my college courses on reproduction)however, if you missed 3 in a row then yes you are to throw the pack away and start a new one. Your body after missing those doses is out of whack, as my instructor put it lol. Hope this helped and wasn't to confusing lol. Oh, and yes the same is recommended for most, if not all b/c that I'm aware of.
