I have several packs of bc pills from about 4 years ago. Can i start using them now? Will they be as affective? I'm asking because i am unable to go to the dr right now and ive just started having sex frequently again..

I would make an appointment with your doctor asap. Before prescribing/taking birth control, it is best to be examined, have your blood pressure taken, be checked for anemia, etc. This is precautions to make sure the birth control will not do harm to your body and health.

With that being said, birth control always has expiration dates on the pack. I would look at the pack and see when it expires. Maybe even call your doctor since you don't have time right now to go in and at least ask over the phone about it. Good luck!
