Hi, this is my second month of taking birth control pills and i'm at the fourth week already.. i'm also on the fourth days of the last week... how come i am still not getting a normal period... i do get some kind of brownish discharge.. but it does not look like period at all.. i don't see blood... is it possible that even when i'm taking pills, i can still not get my period.. i'm sure i'm not pregnant. Please help!

Was the pills prescribed to you to get your cycles going?

The brown discharge is old blood. It can be old because it is light and takes a while to come out.

Give your body a few more cycles to adjust. You are now seeing the brown discharge during your bleeding week, and that is already an improvement, is it not?
