According to the data you provided (taking microgynon 30ed pill for about 5 months, saw period twice in september the 5th and the 30th, missing menstrual period ever since), You might be experiencing a mild form of hormonal imbalance. Mycroginon contains hormones like most of the birth control pills. These hormones interfere with the normal hormonal production in the body.

In most cases they are supposed to determine the characteristics of the menstrual period, but sometimes they do not succeed in becoming completely in charge.

Many women experience a hormonal imbalance when they start or stop taking birth control pills. Changing from one type to another might cause it, too. Even while taking them on a regular basis as recommended, a hormonal imbalance might happen without apparent reason. The period twice in September that was only 25 days long might be caused by that.

You might want to visit your gynecologist if you do not have this period and miss the next, too.

The gynecolgoist would perform a physical examination and hormonal laboratory tests to check if the condition is temporary or something else is the reason.
