Q: Birth control pill instructions

I am taking the pill (YAZ) and I missed my last period. My boyfriend and I are sexually active, but he uses a condom everytime. I am not worried about being pregnant, but I don't know if i should start my next pill pack, or wait for my period and start it after that.

A patient should begin taking her light pink tablets on the next day after ingestion of the last white tablet, regardless of whether or not a menstrual period has occurred or is still in progress.
