Q: Birth control or Plan B ?

ok my boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex and proctected sex off and on, From my knowedge he has NOT came in me glance

. Now I read that the Plan B is just like a lot off birth control, so my BIG question is... Will it hurt me in ANY way if I just take a certain amount of birth control?..... Can i do that
