Birth Control Answer A7672
You would like to know what type of birth control you can use.
Birth control is pregnancy prevention. There are many different types of birth control such as condoms, hormonal pills, intrauterine spiral and etc. Most doctors and researchers agree that each one of them has more or less contraceptive effect. Condoms have that additional effect, however, of preventing from STD (sexual transmitted diseases) and may be a good option. Hormonal birth control is not contraindicated with smoking. However you may consider quiting smoking when you become pregnant due to smoking can do a lot of damage to your baby.
I am not able to suggest any particular type of birth control to you at this time, however. Please contact your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider such as a gynecologist for further advice.
