I've been taking Ortho tri cyclen for over a year now. The other night I noticed I had a feeling in my right side that felt like ovulation pain. Not really worried about it, my husband and I had sex. The pain lasted for about 2 days. Then I noticed today I was having cramps and I spotted a very very small amount just once and I haven't again. I am a perfect pill taker, and am extremely regular. Is it possible my birth control falied and I am pregnant or could become pregnant?

My husband and I are not in any way ready to have children. Please, if anyone will respond, we would appreciate it. I'm terrified right now and I don't have a regular obgyn that I can speak with.

Thanks.
