I've been on Yasmin for a week (I'm on it for BC and acne) and have had terrible heartburn since the first night I started taking the pills. I've only ever had mild heartburn a couple of times (from drinking too many Margaritas). Now I've had it for a week straight and even the Prilosec I'm taking isn't working. I called my Dr. but she said she had never heard of BC pills causing heartburn. I spoke to a friend who is a MD and he said it was probably the progesterone in the BC pills. I have looked on-line and found numerous complaints of heartburn among Yasmin users. I want to change BC pills ASAP and want to know what would be a good low progesterone BC pill to take?

If its bad, then speak with your doctor. Ask to try a different pill because this one is causing side effects (explain the heart burn) and you're not up to waiting three months for them to possibly go away.

No use taking a pill thats giving horrible side effects when there's probably another that won't Smile
