If I have been taking birth control regularly and had sex with my boyfriend and he had precum (small drop on his penis) can i be pregnant? I started my period the day I was supposed to get it later that month! I havent missed any periods. Its been over a couple weeks since we had sex that time and we havent since then. Can I take a pregnancy test now to be sure?

Birth control, when used properly, is as effective as a condom. If you got your period already, why would you be worried youre pregnant?

worrysome
I always get worried and seem to trick myself into thinking I have symptoms when I really dont. But, from now I on I will be using BOTH a condom and birth control! So you really think I have nothing to worry about?

Precum can only impregnate you if he has cum earlier. The sperm will be in his penis still, and if he precums, it will come out along with it. :]

But you're doin' spiffy.
