Hi, I'm looking for a birth control that won't be affected by my drugs Paxil and Lamictal. I've tried to get the Essure implant but I have not had any luck getting a doctor to do it because I don't have children. Also out so far is a IUD, I've been refuse because my cervix is to small and once again I have no children. So right now I'm tearing my hair out trying to find a good birth control before I get married. I'm hoping the one of the next few doctors my finance and myself visit will give him the vasectomy were trying to get, otherwise our honeymoon is not going to be much fun. But most of them want him to be married before they are willing to even being talking about maybe doing it for him. We're taking a five day honeymoon to Hawaii right after our wedding, so I would like something besides a condom to insure that I don't get pregnant. Thanks.

Condoms, spermacides, and IUD are the only ones I know of, but the spermacides should really be paired with something else, like condoms.

Your doctor may know of other options available.
