Q: Birth control and morning after pill

OK so I usually get my period the 24 of each month, i was on birth control for 6 months then stopped for 4 months after, I started taking birth control the 16th of december me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex that day too. But the next day i took the morning after pill. Its been 3 weeks and i havent gotten my period and ive jst been spotting. Is this normal?? Does this mean anythng bad?? baffle

I started spotting a week later too after taking the pill, I believe it's a normal side effect according to the directions if I remember correctly. It said that there will be abnormal bleeding, and that the pill will delay your period by one week or you may get it earlier. It does mess up your cycle. I don't think you should be worrying.
