so I was told that my acid reflux is worse the week before due to my hormones being high. I started Loestrin 24FE. I am hoping that that will help regulate my hormones. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have acid reflux and I have never heard that it could be caused by hormones. Do you have allergies? You might have food allergies that are causing your heartburn.

I don't have food allergies, both OBGYN and GI have said that during the week before progesterone is high and can add to reflux.

I get acid reflux after having an orgasm. Is there higher levels of progesterone during orgasm, or periods?

Acid Reflux and Hormones
I have acid reflux around my period too! It must be the higher progesteron! I've never had it b/f I started the birthcontrol YAZ, I'm off it now and my acid reflux is better, but I still have symptoms especially around my period! It's horrible!
