Even if this isn't Bipolar disorder, you should still see a doctor. It sounds like these symptoms are disrupting your life. I think you should go to your regular doctor and get a physical first. Some common things can cause some of these symptoms, such as hormonal imbalances like with your thyroid or other things. Lack of sleep alone can cause mood swings, depression, forgetfulness, etc.

If they cannot find anything wrong, then you should talk to a psychiatrist about Bipolar disorder. Don't let your regular doctor diagnose you with something like that because he may not be experienced enough. You don't want to get diagnosed with something if you don't. have it.

By writing this, you know that something is wrong, so don't ignore it or put off getting this checked. The sooner this gets treated, regardless of the cause, the easier it is going to be and the quicker you will feel like yourself again. Write back if you have any other questions.

sounds like bipolar symptoms to me. u defnatly should go see your doctor they can get you on the right track. those symptoms are exactly what i had before i was diagnosed with bipolar, everything is much better for me now that im on medication for it.

but what ever it may be u do need to see a doctor about it and they may send you to a pychiatrist.

i was really woried about getting help for it but i have never been happier and am more able to deal with things alot easyer after getting the right treatment.

hope u get it sorted out, best wishes

bipolar disorder is characterized by periods of manic episodes (like those that you describe) followed by periods of sadness, fatigue, low energy, isolation, possible drug abuse, etc.. what you describe could possibly be bipolar disorder or it could be a personality disorder. you really need to speak with a psychiatrist or psychologist to find out, i would suggest doing some research on bipolar symptoms to better educate yourself on the disease.
