Last year I was diagnosed with severe depression and type 2 Bi-polar Disorder. The medications I have been prescribed so far have not had the wanted effects. My biggest "symptom" is fatigue. I can sleep 10-12 hours a day if I'm not bothered. I like my psychiatrist but he seems a little conservative when it comes to medications. Do the medications I am on for the mental conditions appear to be going down the right path? Is there a drug that you have had excellent results with to treat Bi-polar disorder that I can research? I desperately want to feel some improvement but I am afraid that my psychiatrist is not going to take a big enough swing at the issues.
