Im 16 and im so scared that i might have bipolar depression all of the symptoms apply to me apart from the dillusions that you have powers. but i dont know wether to go to a doctor about it because im quite young. My mum says that it is quite possible that i have it, because shes forever having to stay out of the way when i have my mood swings. and i have this horrible chest pains and we have been back to the doctor about them 4 times and they've scanned me and tested me for everything and cant find what it is.
Please help

Could i have Bipolar Depression?
Hi Joanne
The only way to find out for sure is to see an experienced professional - usually a psychiatrist. Normally your doctor would refer you to him (or her).
I know a child of 6 who has been diagnosed.
If you do this you will be surprised at how easy it all was - so be brave!
Good Luck!
