I have a spot on my lung and am going for a CT scan after it was found on a standard chest x-ray. I have had several medical professionals advise me not to get a biopsy but have the spot removed completely cancerous or not. The reason for this is the chance of a cancerous microscopic piece breaking off from the biopsy and entering the bloodstream only to show up as cancer in a few years in another part of my body. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Arthur
