hey guys i recently got a ph monitor test and i get the results monday....but as the doctor was going into my stomach he saw bile....i get nausea, heartburn, chest pain, feels like lump in throat, coughing, burning......the doctors said it was acid reflux but can that be mistaken for bile reflux??? ive taken aciphex, reglan, prevacid, nexium, zederig and nothing seems to help. Im starting to wonder if its bile reflux and not acid reflux. I did get a gall bladder test and it was fine my gall bladder works 83 percent. Im just curious on your guys opinion than a lot!!!!

hi i heard that if you have bile reflux which was evident when your doctor saw it then you need to take questrain (spell) its bascally a drug that absorbs the excess bile........its quite effective i think.i wouls also keep taking a PPI as you also have symptoms of LPR reflux which is different from gerd..........i have it and it takes 6-12months to get it fully uner control and you need to be on PPI twice a day.....
