Hi!
I have had scotomas along with a "fog" which covers my entire visual field. At the same time, I developed Nephrotic Syndrome, which caused me to fill up with 70 pounds of excess fluid and led to End Stage Renal Failure, 3 1/2 years on hemo dialysis and eventually, a kidney transplant. I drew pictures of what I can still see, along with the dark areas where I cannot see. I went on the Internet and discovered that I have something called, Bilateral Ring Scotoma, which the web page indicated is very rare. I am mterrified that I will lose my sight. It has gotten much worse these last 4 months. Is there anyone else out there who has this condition? If so, what caused your vision loss and were you able to improve your sight in any way? The doctors still do not know what caused my condition. I have diabetes, but they tell me that diabetes does not cause this eye condition. Please Help!
